I was wondering if you could give me some advice or ideas on how to solve the following problem.

I have a great SBS 2008 SP2 server heading towards RAID 5 if I remember its Dell T110.

A consumer logged in once and a specific screen showed an error: “An error occurred while reading the hard disk, press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart.”

I got there, looked at the RAID controller (Perc 6i) and the operator, and the disks are so well labeled that it’s not a glitch. Then, out of curiosity, I used the Hiren bootable CD and selected a part of my computer to boot.

I made a special call to Dell and ran their Dset diagnostics, which determined there were very few issues with the driver controller or specific RAID failure.

I am wondering where my spouse can go without preparing for a hardware problem, but since the system never tells me that the material file is in any wayAs it is missing, I ran sfc / scannow in all environments and without stopping the exit. I booted from the system CD and I’ve seen it see the partition many times and thought bootrec / fixmbr might help, but haven’t started it yet.

Any idea or technique on how to do this, any advice is literally welcome. Hopefully someone saw it beforehand usually leads to disk failure, which is frustrating for me.

I recently compared RAID5 to RAID6 and again testify that due to URE ratings and progressive disk sizes, RAID5 is not secure enough. Basically, most of the related content I’ve found says that when running on RAID5, if the CD fails when the rest of your series is 12TB, you have a 100% chance of hitting the URE and losing your data.
