In the past week, some users have faced Windows 7 Clone Disk blue screen error. This problem occurs due to several factors. We’ll cover them below.

A few years ago, my husband and I bought a device that allows me to easily clone a hard drive to an SSD on the go. This happened with the advent of the Apricorn EZ software. I have been using it at least a few times a month for the past five years. Suddenly, the two computers I tried to clone after starting the black screen keep working. PC boot styles are improving, but about 3 seconds after a certain connection, the computer displays blue screens. 0x0000001e

I purchased your latest software and checked the “Dell Computers, Same Crisis” box. I even downloaded a new program, cloned Macrium Reflect Free and now use it. EXACTLY ERROR. And in safe mode, it does the same thing, so I can’t even fix the hardware problems. Even now in command line safe mode.

Both Dell computers are forgotten for less than 3 years, but both have Windows 7. I just installed the first one with Windows 10 right after troubleshooting (repairing Windows installation, etc.). I need to clone a disk becausethat I can’t reinstall the programs.

I need to find a reliable way to clone complex procedures as soon as possible. I do this all the time, this is my bread and butter. Any detailed information on the cause of this or any other program that I might try if it doesn’t work would be greatly appreciated.

I finally gave up, I just installed Windows 10 on a different hard drive and the client needs to update their accounting software. She should have used this method at some point, but that was the main defense I wanted to clone.

I’m 90% sure the problem is with the network driver / adapter. She immediately had problems with this driver, even on an old hard drive. It would take a decent 5-10 minutes for the network to come together after booting. And yes, your loved one had the latest drivers, maybe it was a crooked adapter.

This is one of those weird computer stuff that I will never fix. Since then I have cloned several other hard drives, and they are in the software.row, so I wasn’t too worried.

EDIT: After posting this marketing post, I found that there was apparently a problem with the cloned disk. It won’t end. When I try to shut down each of our computers at startup, the collage just logs out of my account, but doesn’t shut down. Even trying to disable the lock screen will fail. It will restart but is unlikely to stop. I have never had such a scenario with a player after cloning EaseUS. This could be a problem with Acronis.

Solved the search problem. This was not the only problem with cloning. He was also featured frequently on the original disc. I used an in-place update with a Windows 10 drive to properly reset my drive (with the system as the first drive) and that fixed it.

Then I cloned the entire drive again, this time using the free version of Acronis True Image from Western Digital. It worked better than EaseUs and did not require repairs to the BCD store.

However, I am having problems with partitioning again. I definitely used the pro optionAcronis fractional cloning, which resizes most of the partitions in the clone to fit on a disk of a different size than the original. What I didn’t expect was how Acronis can do it. Gave all of us a huge 698.40 GB recovery partition.

For clarity, the wall covering on my old computer (which I replaced with this new one because the old computer failed) looks like this:

This is what the partitions looked like on the instant clone I created from the disk behind my new computer (just like the original disk on my new laptop, except for the extra unallocated space (can’t remember if the original disk was) the space was allocated or not, but in this case it was a real small percentage of the disk capacity):

Now the results of my last copy with Acronis:

Now I still want the drive to be partitioned just like the hard drive on my old computer. I am considering deleting the duplicate disk and re-cloning it using Acronis (this time with a configurable option, apparently this would allow me to manually set the actual sizes of each partition), unless this is generally not the best way to do it without making another clone. But I need to know the following:

    1. Is the Acronis Buy Partition Size option used again when cloning a disk?

    2. Do I have to leave unallocated space on my hard disk? drive If yes, how much is recommended? On my old computer, 451 MB was not allocated.

    3. How much space is required for the “System” section? The old computer had 597 MB, my new computer’s original hard drive was only 100 MB.

    4. How big do I need a huge recovery partition? My old computer was 450 MB and my new computer or laptop was 500 MB.

    5. Regarding the SSD issue, would I say that it is absolutely necessary that user data be stored in a separate partition from C so that they can then successfully clone the drive to the SSD?

    SkyNetRising:

I suggest that you do not enlarge the C: section, but create a spare section in a failure Space and store your good user / game data there.
This way, you can easily clone the Windows partition to the SSD if you decide to update it later.

But if you are cheap, you want to increase C:, if yes, then you need to delete the recovery partition.
You can do this with diskpart.

    • disk part
      Disc List
select drive c (x is your hard drive number, actually 0)
      List of sections
select partition y (y is the cell number of the partition 500 MB, recovery should remain 3)
      Delete partition
      log out

Make sure you choose the most suitable hard drive and partition. Partition data to be lost.
Then you can use the control drive to expand the C: partition.
