    When starting Windows PE (WinPE) or Windows Setup, select Legacy UEFI or BIOS mode. If you want to switch to firmware mode after installing Windows, you can try using the MBR2GPT tool.

    Typically, Windows will install with the new UEFI mode as it contains more security features than the only legacy BIOS mode. If you are booting from a network that only has BIOS patches, you will need to boot into Legacy BIOS mode.

    After installing Windows, the device will automatically start in the same modewhere it was already installed.

    To Start With BIOS Or Uefi:

    1. Open the firmware menu. You can use any of these methods:

      • Start the computer, press and also the design key to open the map. Commonly used: Esc, Delete, F1, F2, F10, F11, or F12.
