Is it safe to download K-Lite Codec Pack?
I would recommend that you uninstall both JetAudio Player and K-Lite codec pack and replace them with VLC Media Player. No need to install a codec pack. In fact, I’m sure, but the programs you host may be associated with all other unwanted and / or unnecessary software.

Does Windows 10 need k-lite codec?
The K-Lite Codec Pack (which is compatible with Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista and XP) is a popular set of codecs for good reason. K-lite Codec Pack Standard: The standard brand is the best option for many users.
If your driver hangs due to video playback with this driver, you are sometimes using the 21.11.3 driver.

The K-Lite Codec Pack is a free chain of components required to play audio and even video in DirectShow players such as Windows Media Player, Media Center, and Media Player Classic.

The default codec pack option is the one we highly recommend for the average user. It contains this particularly advanced MPC-HC player as well as the most important codecs needed to play mulmedia. It’s almost safe and not very powerful.

HDR Video Playback
To play abs, you mustuse the included MPC-HC Gadget and choose MPC Video Renderer or Madvr as your mod. video renderer. These digital video renderers can automatically send HDR metadata to your TV if it supports HDR. Otherwise, they will convert the video to SDR so you can watch it on a normal monitor/TV.
Note: Currently only HDR10 is supported. Not Dolby Vision.
3D Video
The codec pack includes a decoding plug-in like H.264 MVC 3D video. This idea is only included in the full/mega edition, but is available separately HERE. In order to watch such videos normally, you need to use the best MPC-HC player and select Madvr as your kind of video renderer. This monitor/TV requires Windows 8.x/10 (or eight windows with a modern NVIDIA GPU) to display 3D video on this monitor/TV.
Note: SBS (parallel playback) and 3D playback from above. The video below does not meet the above requirements. These movies are actually encoded as 2D video. Your TV should be able to convert this to 3D.
