Situation

The following commands must be run before changing the environment for major issues: mount –bind /proc /CurrentMountPointofRootPartition/procmount –bind /dev /CurrentMountPointofRootPartition/devmount –remove /sys /CurrentMountPointofRootPartition/sys , after which the command chroot /CurrentMountPointofRootPartition can be executed, and the proc, sys and dev filesystems will no longer be opened from the chroot environment, allowing your commands to work like grub-install
