Linux Endpoints With DazukoFS

To allow access to the actual filesystem, DazukoFS mounts the website directory / home . HP Data Protector reads the / home service as part of a different file system. As a result, you will receive the following error message: the object is definitely on the current filesystem .

To fix the error, you need to change the policy and delete the / h directoryome for on-access scanning.

Read the instructions.
Find the policy that is uniquely assigned to the endpoint and click its name.
Go to Anti-Malware Settings >> On Access.

Click “Save” to apply the changes.

In HBS 3 One-Way Sync Job, the optional Delete Files in Destination Folder option is enabled by default and cannot be disabled. This option removes all files from the local folder that are not in the original folder of the sync task.

Therefore, if you create two one-way sync jobs with the same target folder, the files transferred from the first one-way sync job will be deleted on the second one-way sync attempt on the second job. which probably could have caused a bug in the Hyper Data Protector.
