There are several reasons why the Denied Access logo may appear when trying to share a device over a network. Two of the reasons are not having any Windows service called “File and Share” printer and not having proper network credentials. To fix the access error, she denied the troubleshooting request.

Troubleshoot Network Shares
1. Working group. Make sure all the computers you want to access are in the same workgroup. The workgroup header must be the same on all computers. Also make sure you use the same case for names (all upper or lower case).
For Windows 9 and laterClick Start, select Wide Panel in Workgroup, and then select Change Workgroup Name. Click the Change Time button to change the workgroup name.
2. HomeGroup – Windows introduced a new feature called HomeGroup that automatically configures everything and therefore file sharing between Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 computers.

3. File and Printer Sharing – Make sure File and Printer Sharing is enabled due to the adapter’s network. You can enable it by going to Network Control Panel, Connections, right-clicking on your network connection, choosing Properties, and making sure file and printer sharing is enabled for Microsoft networks.
On some versions of Windows and later, you need to go to the Network and Sharing Center, then click “Advanced Sharing Options” and enable “Information Technology” there.
4. Correct Subnet and IP Approach – You should really have no problem seeing if all of your computers are connected to the same router, but it’s still worth mentioning.
Make sure the subnet mask and default gateway are the same for all technologies. If they do not match, at this stage you will have problems connecting some computers to the network.

5. Check your firewalls. I suggest turning off Windows Firewall on which computers first and then trying to access the shared folders. Also, don’t forget to turn off third-party firewalls like Norton and Comodo.

You go to Start, Control Panel, Network Connections, right-click on a network connection, select Properties and see which protocol is listed.
8. Username and Password . If all of the above is true and you still cannot log in, you can also try to make sure that the usernames and passwords are the same on all computers.
It’s better to have passwords for almost all accounts and create a new subscription on every computer with the same username and password. Sometimes it’s important to create a new account and not just change the name or password of an available account. Make sure the accounts are administrators.
It is also important to know that you will not be able to connect to a work network share if the host computer does not have a password for the customer account. You can turn off password sharing, which removes the above but also mandatory requirement. It is much less secure.
9. Computer names. Make sure the NetBIOS domains are unique across all computers. NetBIOS names are only 8 characters long. Thus, if someone names the computer JohnnyBoy1 and JohnnyBoy2, they get the same NetBIOS name.
Make sure the first eight characters of the correct computer name are unique, otherwisewhy are you in trouble. Note that this is a sporadic case with very old versions of Windows. You don’t need to make a distinction for Windows 7 and later.
10. Local security policy. Another reason you can’t access just one other computer in the entire network is because of the stricter security policy.
You can access Control Panel, Tools, Administrative Local Security Policy, Local Policies and Security Settings. Now find the reading guide:

Make sure this value is off. Also, remember to disable only the setting that enables SAM Accounts and Shares, and not the specific setting Only SAM Accounts.
11. Remove your antivirus and internet security. Finally, make sure all of your antivirus programs are disabled or uninstalled to test the connection. If you have a lot of internet security software like Norton Internet Security or Kaspersky Internet Security, turn them off!
