If you are installing SP1 on Windows Vista, the Find option will be removed from the Settings menu and you can no longer use it from the Start menu. You can still use “.” access it by pressing the F3 key.

C) Click Yes in the Copy and Replace section to confirm that you have selected the default desktop shortcuts and INI files. â

A) Open the All_Users_ (Vista Edition) folder (on the desktop) and select the Applications folder, the Default Programs shortcut and the Windows Update shortcut, then right click but also copy.

B) Right-click an empty space in the Windows Explorer pane and select Paste. (See screenshot above) â

C) Click “Yes” and then “Copy and Replace” to confirm the desktop copy of the bypass shortcut and INI files. â €

11. This way you can restore only the required combinationsshortcut keys for all users â €

A) Open the All_Users_ (Vista Edition) folder (on the desktop), then manually copy the required shortcuts to the location of the Start menu, ours in the Programs folder, to the above location in the Windows Explorer window. (See screenshot below step 9) â €

This gives you exact downloads, including all default shortcuts for all programs in the Startup Chooser for each Vista edition, so buyers can either restore all the cut corners or just the ones they want.

Downloading Start Menu Shortcuts for Vista Enterprise Edition is not included in this guide. You can download it from Ultimate instead.

To restore the default menu, run shortcuts that are only used by the current user.
