Over the past few days, some of our readers have told us that they have stumbled upon the hy157 patch.
Press the “F1” key on the keyboard. This will go into the BIOS of your gateway.
Common suggestions for entering BIOS are F1, F2, F10, Delete, Esc, and combinations of factors such as Ctrl + Alt + Esc or Ctrl + Alt + Del, although these are more common on older printers. Also note that a key such as F10 can launch something else, as you can see in the Start menu.
There are many computer manufacturers out there and they seem to have their own ideas when it comes to naming a character string for BIOS input to keys. There can often be potentially significant differences in access methods between some other models of the same company!
What is the boot menu key for Gateway?
Information: Take care of your computer. While holding down the Alt key, press the F10 key several times. When the gateway boot menu appears, select your hard drive. Again quickly hold the Alt key and continuously press the F10 key.

The BIOS on this Acer Altos 600 server uses Ctrl + Alt + Esc for keys and F1 for options to execute.
Older Acer computers can also use the F1 or Ctrl + Alt + Esc keys.

On some Asus laptops, you must press the magic formula Esc, Del or F10 instead.
Older Asus computers can only boot using the BIOS setup utility if you hold down the Esc key until you get to Boot Choiceswarms; continuing to select Enter configuration in the menu.
Hold down F10 while the cursor in the upper right corner of the screen is blinking.
Older Compaq computers can use the F1, F2, F10 keys in addition to the Delete key to enter BIOS.
Press F2 when the main Dell logo appears. Press every few seconds until Entering Configuration appears.
On older Dell desktops and laptops, you can use Ctrl + Alt + Enter or Delete instead.
Older Dell laptops can use Fn + Esc. or Fn + F1.
Press the Tab or Delete key while the eMachine logo is displayed on the screen. EMachine
other computers can use F2.
Press the uninstall button several times as soon as the EVGA Notebook starts up.
Press F2 as soon as the Fujitsu logo appears.
DX, FX, LT, NV, NE, A, GM, GT, GX, SX, Profile, Astro
After restarting the gateway computer, periodically press the F1 or F2 key to enter the configuration utility. Maybe you needhold and press the button.

After restarting your computer, press F1 or F2.
Some Lenovo products have a very small Novo button on the minus (next to the power button) that you can press (hold) to enter your computer’s BIOS setup. After that, you may need to enter BIOS setup program as soon as this screen appears.
Press F12.
Allow access to older Lenovo products with Ctrl + Alt + F3, Ctrl + Alt + Insert, or Fn + F1.
Press F1, F2 or Delete immediately after turning on the PC.
Press F2 to enter BIOS setup.
Press f2 to start BIOS setup utility. You may need to touch this important item several times until the desired screen appears.
After pressing f2, the computer starts up.
Some very old Sharp PCs require an installation diagnostic disc.
Press F1, F2 or F3 to activate tracking on your computer.
After entering BIOS, press F1 or Esc. Press F12
on Toshiba Equium.

I cannot access my laptop’s BIOS.
Go to Advanced> Startup> Startup Configuration.In the Boot Display Config: area, activate the displayed keyboard shortcuts for the POST function. Activate display F2 to call up the setting.Press F10 to save and exit BIOS.
I once entered the BIOS many months ago to convert the Fn keys, but I can’t remember what I was doing.
