Explanation

15404 is used for authentication when an invalid principal is specified. Or, impersonation of each Windows account fails because there is no full trust relationship between the SQL Server service account and the domain of that Windows account.

If this error is entirely the result of a lack of trust between the SQL Server online account and the domain of the Windows account, the following steps can certainly resolve the error:

• Use a credentialThe one you see is in the same domain as the Windows user to find the SQL Server service.

• If SQL Server typically uses a computer account such as Network Service or Local System, the computer must be a trusted domain for these Windows users.

• 

  Use a SQL Server account.

I go crazy easily. I am your professional programmer and mainly deal with security and database issues.

However, we had a quick reboot server after the MS update. I restored my entire computer from a Windows backup, but found that I could restore my computer byBecause you cannot use a Windows backup to restore your database to another computer, AFAICT. Instead, I need real database backups for this.

When I search for regular SQL Server backups, I find an error in the properties docs:

[298] SQL Server Error: 15404, Windows NT user / group information ‘WIN-443PT0LULQU Administrator’ could not be displayed, error coupon code 0x534

Basically, I turned on SSMS SQL Server Viz Agent, then created an employer plan to perform full backups on our company’s SQL Server instance, and scheduled this for day to day operations.

However, when I manually ask this method to do this work – make sure all functions are working correctly – I get an error:

  [298] SQL Server Error: 15404, Windows NT Group / Windows NT User Information 'WIN-443PT0LULQU  Administrator' could not be retrieved, code 0x534 failed 

This sounds like an NT permissions issue to me – is it an XP agent anyway? – Initiatives to obtain user rights were discussed earlier – and this is not successful.

There issome weird – it probably won’t be the “WIN-443PT0LULQU” machine – which can’t be found – is WTH causing SQL Server to take its original place ?!

I want this to be done as an administrator – on the local machine ‘BUILD-SERVER’ – not always using the garbage name it logs …

I’m completely overwhelmed here, and the whole process is insane.

How is it not possible in 2018 to click a few appropriate wizard-style NEXT buttons and configure Windows / SQL Server for regular correct support?

In SQL Server 2012, be sure to configure scheduled backup maintenance plans for the SharePoint 2013 farm databases. When you try to run a maintenance plan, you receive all of the following errors:

1. Define the domain account that you want to use to connect to SQL Server (for example, spAdmin) to create recovery plans and database maintenance ddata farms. Active
2. Start the user and computer directory as an administrator.
3. Access this account in the directory.
4. Right-click this account type, select and Properties.
5. Select the Security tab.
6. Click the Add button.
7. Enter the plan for the domain of the SQL Server service and click OK.
8. In the Properties dialog box, select this account from the Specific Group or Name list.
9. Make sure read is allowed and all of its subordinate permissions (for example, read restrictions, general read information, etc.). Disabling and enabling read automatically activates any additional read permissions.
10. Click OK.
