This “Generic OLE Error” occurs when opening an embedded document. Can anyone please help me?

Has OpenOffice been discontinued?

OpenOffice.org (OOo), commonly known as OpenOffice, has always been a discontinued open source office suite. In 2011, Oracle Corp., the then owner of Sun, announced that it would no longer allow a commercial version of the package, and then donated to the Apache Foundation project.

RoryOF writtenl: Is the embedded document where OpenOffice thinks it should be? What (3-letter extension) is an inline document?

The submission is actually on the server. We put it on the net.

There are some awesome documents embedded in the main document. Some integrated documents are open to understanding and some are not.
Forks inline documents: .doc

Most files that cannot be opened with OpenOffice Write contain images.

I cannot provide more specific advice than simply suggesting that you upgrade your OLE document to OLE if possible)

Another solution might be to create a new OLE link to the file deemed necessary, just to test if the correct link is working.

 You must have an OLE server to open an OLE block.In this case, Word is an OLE server, so you need an open word for the current OLE.If you don't have a word, now you have to choose the download path [L] from:'Instruments; Options; Save the load. ... ... Microsoft Office; WinWord to StarOffice Writer Writer /staroffice in WinWord. '

We first looked at the saved file and then we usedOpen with and open with OO. The picture was illegible. Then we triedThe table was moved and resized again. It was perfectly readable now. From there I continuedwe have a different problem. Here are the steps we took:- We opened the file using “Fromcover with help “and therefore used an object-oriented approach.- We have moved the table in this direction to resize it.- Double-click the table to open it in Microsoft Word.- Back to Impress, now the object is just an image of the object’s icon.- The previous object can now only be viewed via MS Word.“Then we clicked the” Save “star in the toolbar.- We received some kind of error message that said there was an error during formatting. We continuedwith backup- The painting reappeared on the trail of the print.- Close the impression.- Open the same file again.- The table is no longer in any file.The table was replaced with an object image icon every time we clicked on it.If it’s not you, so far we have double-clicked the save icon on the table. wethen tried using the save icon after someone double clicked on the table andit will appear again too ..  - I can reproduce some bugs from a human in the specified version.- There should be many fixes for OLE in OOo 2.0.1.- I cannot reproduce the bugs using the latest internal version please- change the look again if the bug in OOo 2.0.1 continues to occur
