I was trying to find a way to crop a lot of my videos to actually make a file that is just a short piece of video. Okay. Here is another one to take care of this issue, can someone help me. The general goal is to use avi files for “iPod ready files” for Quicktime to use. When one of several files was opened in Quicktime, I initially had no sound and had a blank screen while the file was “playing”. Personally, it took me a long time, but I finally found the required video codec to have video at the moment.

However, my partner still has problems with starucom. When I go to the properties of the movie in Quicktime, it shows that the stereo file track is MPEG in Layer 3 format. Of course, I started looking for this audio codec. When my husband and I found, bought and installed Freecodec from Fraunhofer on Freecodec, nothing changed. Unfortunately I can’t find another version with the codec, I don’t know how to tell Quicktime to use the Fraunhofer codec.

Good. Maybe this is another one for this problem, can someone help me. The ultimate goal is to convert avi files to iPod ready filesusing Quicktime. At first, when one of these files was launched in Quicktime, I had no sound and / or a blank screen while the file was “playing”. It took me a long time to finally find the video codec I wanted, so now I have this video.

However, I still cannot solve the sound issue. So when I go into the video properties in Quicktime, it shows that the audio track of all files is MPEG in a level 3 structure. Of course I started looking for an audio codec. When I found, downloaded and installed several Freecodecs from Fraunhofer, nothing changed. Unfortunately I can’t find an alternative version and the codec doesn’t know how to use quicktime to get started with the Fraunhofer codec.
