FIX: Clean Microsoft Network Spyware

 

You may have encountered an error code indicating that Microsoft’s network spyware has been cleaned up. There are several ways to fix this problem, so we’ll look at them shortly.

1. Click Start, then type Windows Update in the search box.

2. In the results pane, return Windows Update.

3. 

   Click Check for Updates.

4. Follow the instructions to get and install the latest Windows updates.

1. Note the name of the rogue security software. In this case, we’ll call it XP Security Agent 2010.

2. Restart your personal computer.

3. When the computer manufacturer’s logo appears, press and hold the F8 key.

4. When prompted, use the arrow keys to highlight Safe with Online Mode and press Enter.

5. Click the Start button and check if there is rogue security software on the Start menu. If no details are available, click All Programs and scroll up to find the name of the malware’s security.

6. Right-click Rogue security software, then click Properties.

7. Click the tab shortcut.

8. In the Properties dialog box, check the path to the fake security software specified in the Target field. Example: C: Program Security files xp Agent 2010.

9. Open

   click on the location of the file.

10. On the Programs tab in the Help Panel, click Programs.

11. Scroll right to find the Anti-Malware Procedures folder Umm “. For example, XP Agent Basic Safety 2010.

12. Right-click the folder and select Delete.

13. Restart your computer.

    Go to this Microsoft Security Scanner website.

15. Click the Download Now command button, then click Run.

16. Follow the instructions to scan your computer and remove critical security software.

If you suspect your personal computer is infected with rogue security software, many of which have gone undetected by Microsoft security solutions, you can use the Microsoft Malware Protection Center submission form to submit samples.

In the Properties dialog box, check the path to the unauthorized security software listed in the Target field. For model C: Program Security files xp Agent 2010.

1. On an uninfected computer Here, go to the “Help protect my computer with Microsoft Defender Offline” section.

2. Depending on the operating system the user is using, click Download 32-bit or Download 64-bit. If you are not sure which operating system you are using, we checked to see if the computer is running 32-bit or possibly 64-bit Windows.

   If you are still prompted, click Save As, then save the file to DVD, CD, or USB drive.

4. Insert DVD, CD or USB drive to damaged computer and restart computer.

5. When prompted, press the large key to select a startup option such as F12, F5, or F8, depending on the type of computer you are using.

6. Use the arrow key to scroll – the drive where you installed the standalone Microsoft Defender file. Microsoft Offline Defender launches immediately incombined with malware scanning.

1. Click the “Start” button, then select “Control Panel”.

2. Type program in the search box and click Windows Firewall.

3. In the left pane, click Turn Windows Firewall on or off (you may need to enter your actual administrator password).

4. For each network location, click Turn on Windows Firewall, and then click OK.
