These errors indicate that an incompatible, refilled, or third-party toner cartridge is installed. First, make sure the following applies:

    • You are using a genuine Lexmark toner cartridge. If a third-party nicotine cartridge is causing this problem even though it has worked in the past, consider replacing it.

To fix any of these errors, you needo Replace the refilled / remanufactured toner cartridge with a genuine Lexmark toner cartridge.

If the previous conditions are correct, proceed to the next steps:

    1. Printer power failure.
    2. Open the front cover.
    3. Replace this toner cartridge when the situation permits:
      • Try using a new Lexmark brand toner cartridge if you are using one that is available.
      • If it is a good, newly installed Lexmark brand toner cartridge in addition to the one you have left, reinstall the old one you removed when installing the new one.
