I recently updated to 10.9.1 and at first everything seemed to work, gradually I noticed that some applications crashed immediately after launch.
The Crash Application Registry includes (but not all) CodeKit, GeekTool Helper, AppCleaner, ControllerMate, and Bartender.Makes
Weird stuff, AppCleaner I was able to get it to work by deleting the idea and creating a new copy. ControllerMate and Simply Both bartenders have only departed once or maybe three times, so they work most of the time.
CodeKit in addition to GeekTool, however, on every crash. I started CodeKit again and ran it once in one evening showing all of its files and using a fresh copy, but the next day it crashed again immediately. Since then, deleting all files has never worked.
The failure indicator is always current: No error message; Instead, all application windows freeze and hover mouse gives me a spinning wheel of death. Activity Monitor shows that the failed instance is consuming approximately 100.2% of the CPU and can only be removed by force shutting down the instance.
Not all of these glitches are good enough to leave me a crash log, but for now everyone has it and I can have it for everyone:

>> Everything worked for AppCleaner (only crashed once since then).
>> This only worked once for CodeKit, but the debris came back the next day and this method never worked again.
>> At first, CodeKit and GeekTool coped with their task, but then it crashed.
>> All programs work fine here. I missed a few laps but could not break them.
So, judging from the internet, I’m guessing that your reason is due to an outdated version that is not compatible with 10.9.1, or an important third party application that does not load in safe mode.
Can anyone give any advice on how to isolate the root cause of this mess, and maybe even how to fix it?
