Recently, several users reported to us that they encountered the iisreset Access Denied Administrator.

g.IIS tries to stop all services before restarting. The IISReset command line utility waits until all services are stopped. If any type of service in the module cannot be stopped, all IIS services will stop and IIS will restart.

I do feel like a member of the local administrator choice on a Windows Server 2012 machine, but when I try to run IISReset from the command line, I get:
Access denied, you and your family must be administrators of the remote universal computer to use this command. You have either added your Administrator account, the Nearby Remote Computers group, or the Global Domain Administrators group.
I have disabled UAC on this computer and am connected to RDP via Remote Desktop Manager, so I don’t know why the computer thinks that I am not a local administratorR.

Are you still using this administrative command line despite disabling UAC?
The IISRESET administrator security token is missing from the standard prompt, even if you moved this UAC slider to Never notify.
- Open PowerShell.
- Type regedit and press Enter.
- Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE MicrosoftWindows CurrentVersion policy system
- Double click with EnableLUA
- Change the data value to 0
- Clickf “OK” and restart the server completely.
to remove UAC, then try starting IISRESET from a normal command line, but completely disabling UAC servers is not recommended.
