As a great exercise in uselessness I’m trying to install Grub, which can partition my hard drive. I try to include this mint in this one before using it in Manjaro (this got people excited about my setup – hopefully giving it a specific section to install grub will calm his real feelings)

That is, grub-install refuses to continue working with block lists and indicates that “The ‘ext2’ filesystem does not support integration.” Mine is not a ext2 filesystem yet, ext4 and doesn’t need fsck:

I am not using lilo to link to mine. The only reason I put lilo in mbr is because it retains the advantage of getting the shoes directly from the extended section rather than from the main sections. I
yes there are 4 MBR, code output> fdisk -l , thanks for sending them lilo to mbr. Basically, a normal MBR works because all new active partitions are primary and not open. But I just left my version open.
The active partition on each hard drive is started by extlinux . From there, I link whatever I want with a menu launch.
Normal Linux partition also boots from extlinux , but somehow I was unable to prepare / dev / sdc5 by running extlinux , so I disabled grub2 and it was already started on purpose.
The problem started when I used it to make a USB partitionloading.
Partitions B and A are no longer bootable.
For full disclosure, partitions B and A will be restored from a LUbuntu I system that has been carefully installed and shut down. This “rollback” is the main reason I was not equipped to download extlinux , I think, but I cannot prove it.
Legacy Grub is just a legacy partition / operating system that I have been working on for years, not even more than 10 years.
grub4dos is the file I am restructuring on my USB hard drive. It will be bootable and will allow me to bind the sneaker to anything using simple syntax that I understand correctly. Having said that, it has nothing to do with the current startup as I can turn it down to anyone right now.
