PC running slow?
During the past days, some of our readers have come across the well known rtcrouter.dll Live-Meeting error message. Several factors can cause this problem. We’ll cover them below. The K-Lite Codec Pack is a collection of all DirectShow filters, codecs and VFW / ACM tools. DirectShow codecs and filters are required for streaming and decoding audio and video formats. K-Lite Codec Pack is a really handy solution for playing all your audio and video files.
Mega Variant is one of four particularly important codec variants in the package. It has everything you need to play all your audio and video deo files. In addition, it also includes some ACM / VFW codecs that can be used by video encoding / editing applications.

Is K-Lite Codec Pack legal?
The K-Lite Codec Pack is a collection of DirectShow filtering systems, codecs and VFW / ACM tools. DirectShow codecs and filters are required to encode and decode audio and video formats. K-Lite Codec Pack (Standard) contains only legal, that is, pure codecs.
HDR video playback
To view these videos, you must use the supplied MPC-HC player and MPC Madvr video renderer or Movie Select renderer. These video renderers currently can automatically send HDR to your TV’s metadata if the issue is HDR compatible. Otherwise, the video colors will be converted to SDR so you can view them on a regular monitor / TV.
Note. Currently only hdr10 format is supported. Not Dolby Vision.
How do I download and install a K-Lite Codec Pack?
Click here to download the K-Lite Codec Pack.Run the downloaded file to begin installation.Leave all the default options and click Next.When you get to the general page below, make sure all media players are checked and click Next.
3D video codec
This package contains an important plugin for decoding 3D H.264 MVC video. To watch these videos properly, be sure to use the supplied MPC-HC. use Player (64-bit) to select Madvr as your online video renderer. Outputting 3D video to your monitor / TV leads to Windows 8.x / 10 (or Windows 7 with a very modern GPU NVIDIA).
Note. Playback of SBS (side by side) and Top / The 3D video below does not meet the above requirements. Such videos are actually encoded as 2D video. Your TV should always be able to rotate this 3D correctly.
In this case, nvidia must implement driver version 418.xx or earlier. The 3D advantage has been removed in newer versions.
Blu-ray
Can mpc-hc play Blu-ray discs. There are several restrictions:
1) Blu-ray menus are not supported. It will automatically play the longest label on the disc. Other tracks are available through the navigation menu on this player.
2) The disk must be decrypted using an external tool. For example AnyDVD HD Passkey or Lite.

Is K-Lite Mega Codec Pack free?
The K-Lite Codec Pack is a completely free set of components required to play music and video in DirectShow players such as Windows Media Player, Media Center, and Media Player Classic.
