SOLUTION:
Problem description:
In SonicWall, when the WLAN interface is connected to the GUI LAN (X0), the error message “Error: interface index. A port panel interface cannot be assigned to an L2 bridge. ” … This KB article shows you how you can obviously work around this error message and change the WLAN interface to LAN interface in Layer2 bridging mode.
Error:
Step 1. Enter detailed control of sonicwall GUI.
Step 2: Go to Network> Interfaces page.
Step 3: Click the Configure WLAN Interface option. (In our scenario, the W0 interface is the WLAN interface, but other interfaces such as X2, X3, X4 and x5 X6 can also be configured in the WLAN area)
