Our WSUS 6.3 server on Windows Server 2012 R2 is throwing synchronization errors in the last 3 days and has the following error in the WSUS synchronization log:

If “Job is done.”is the best error, it might be a problem with the MS site. Have you checked that you can manually enter the MS update site?

Description	Invalid access security description% 1 for COM server application% 2. It enables access control with logon permissions, many of which are invalid. Therefore, the requested action was not taken. You can actually fix this security permission by using the Component Services snap-in.
Event Information	According to: Microsoft Cause: This event is suppressed when an access security descriptor for an application The COM server is invalid. Solution: Check the exact server policy. Update the security plan security settings on the server to allow all completed operation requests. The text associated with the event message can help you configure your security policy. Use the Component Services Administration tool to change the server’s security policy. I would say that the requested operation should be completed. You must be a member of Administrators and have the appropriate permissions to complete this procedure. To open Components and Services, look for the security properties of this server: 1.
