I am trying to automate the archiving of certain types of log files generated by sage. We generate an average of 15,000 newspaper auctions or sales orders per day, and LogViewer via Sage is so slow that it becomes unusable after about a month. I can use the same connection string to query the main QLM log data, but when I try to remove duplicate content data, I get an error.

After speaking with a Sage 309 CRE Certified Consultant, I was confirmed that the log viewer data cannot be modified using ODBC and that I must use the newspaper viewer interface to remove marketing information. According to the consultant, Sage has an open DLL that will share functions, but also open certain areas of the program, and therefore is not usually offered elsewhere.

Although this contradicts Jrammell’s remarks, I was told; The expert said that the project is actually at a standstill until the acquisition of this DLL is open.
