Cinepak is undoubtedly a lossy video codec that was usually developed in the early 90s, but compressed videos can still be played on most popular media players (including Windows Media Player).
Usually, during copying, Cinepak is installed with the Windows operating system, which has since become one of the most important multimedia elements.

The Cinepak encoding method is a vector quantization job with an interframe optimization update. It is identified as the most frequently used by the user.in YUV 4: 2: 0 color space, but also with rods with 256 shades of gray and in palletizing mode. A modified version of this format is used in many Sega Saturn gaming software for the entire range of moving videos (Sega FILM files often have a special .cpk extension).
