Last week, some readers ran into an error code in which the blogengine.net widget control was not found. This problem occurs for a number of reasons. We’ll cover them below.

The easiest way to update to the latest version- start with a clean install and then overwrite existing data and settings to a modern version. The upgrade steps are given below.
1. Backup
Create an existing BlogEngine installation using a backup. It is very important. If something goes wrong, you can always restore a backup from anywhere.
2. Install The Latest Version
Install the latest version on your computer and make sure everything is error free.
3. Copy The Data You Are Interested In To The New Version
XML Provider: Delete the App_Data folder to reinstall it and copy that folder back from your current blog (except label.txt with JavaScript shares, you need it).
Database Based Provider: In the database (MS Sql Server, MySql, etc.) BlogEngine and Version, run the replace scripts that are in the appropriate folder in / setup.
Version 3. Only three main executions execute this query: delete to the right of be_DataStoreSettings, where ExtensionType = 1
4. Copy Your Distinguished Code To The New Version
Version 3.3 only: located in 3.3 / Custom / Widgets, incompatible with With old reproductions, a newer version must be used. Old for the widgets removed in step 3, the new icons just need to be dragged and dropped from the Admin / Custom / Widgets UI.
5. Combine Web.config
If you are using databases as a back end, you will need to synchronize the web.config database from the / setup folder, thereby changing the string connection to point to your enterprise database host.
Notes
– If the administrator cannot access the Dash or Custom tabs, go to Administration -> Users -> Roles, select Administrator and make sure all rights are enabled for the administrator role.
– Under “Custom” -> in the gallery, make sure the channel is pointing to “http://dnbe.net/v01/nuget” and is set by default. (Version 3.3 forever: gallery setting removed)

Looking at the discussion on the forums, it seems like there were some problems with the database.
Solution
I didn’t see anyone with problems, so I pulled the exit code from the Codeplex and looked at DBBlogProvider.cs 2350 (the line that reported the error. I think it looks like this if the site’s blog is almost certainly set to ” intended to aggregate “site as the actual root site where I had to insert a new widget – it saw duplicates.
I disabled the “This is for Site Aggregation” option on behalf of our blog root, and then I was able to load the personalization page and my personal add widget.
Interestingly, I went back to “Is Site for Aggregation” and everything is still fine. My guess is that the action that says opens personalization as soon as the page fixes the issue.
Update: It turned out that this is not the case with the human, after restarting my custom PC, the error returned

If you haven’t heard about this, I haven’t heard aboutthis, there is one for patch 2.8.0.0, which fixes an issue preventing the slug (post url) from working properly, these multiple posts on the same day were considered the first group.
