How do I update my Phoenix BIOS?
Visit the BIOS Agent Plus website of the type listed in this resource section.Select Free BIOS Scan to download the best free BIOS Agent Plus software.Double-click the instruction to launch the installer.Wait for the BIOS Plus agent to generate a report on the BIOS and drivers for your system.
- Make sure you have the correct file /BIOS update image for your motherboard.
- Components of your system should not be overclocked too much.
- Your system should be really stable.
- If you still want to flash on Windows, close almost all applications.
Flashing from DOS is highly recommended as flashing BIOS in Windows is more risky.
You are flashing the BIOS at your own risk – be sure to help download the correct BIOS file and flashing utility. This site and its owners are not responsible for increasing your motherboard!
How To Flash Motherboard BIOS
Just download the appropriate compressed BIOS file, unzip it, rename it to something simple, especially bios.bin (Award, Phoenix – Or an award) bios.rom (AMI, Phoenix), and use the tool recommended for flashing. listed below.
After updating the BIOS settings, shut down the computer, unplug the AC power cord (or remove power from interference), and clear the CMOS. Reconnect to plus Turn on the air conditioner, on P call some BIOS setting (usually through “del”, possibly “F2”), select “Load Optimized Defaults” (or similar) with saving / exiting the configuration.
AMI BIOS Update Utilities
The following attributes are recommended for updating the AMI BIOS containing the kernel (.rom files). UEFI / Aptio 4 / Aptio V are definitely not supported, go to ami.com for the corresponding firmware tool.

Older versions of Award Flasher (for example, 5.00) should only be used with old basic Award BIOS projects (for example, 4.50, not 4.51 or 6.0).New variants usually add new command line and system parameters that differ for different brands of flash chips.
Usually, ifand you load the BIOS for your personal motherboard, the manufacturer includes a suitable version of the Award Flasher.
WinFlash based Windows Award also exists to update BIOS from Windows.
AMI BIOS Firmware
- You can find AMI BIOS Flasher on your motherboard website. If you download each BIOS for your motherboard, the manufacturer will usually provide the correct version of the AMI flash with it.
