Over the past few days, some readers have reported that they have stumbled upon Acer Revo System Restore. The Acer Revo series uses a significantly smaller chassis than a standard PC to save space. Due to the different design, Revo desktops no longer have room for their own DVD or CD. If your Revo is having problems and you want to restore to factory settings, do not use the recovery CD. Instead, you need access to the therapy settings built into the computer, either by reinstalling the entire working system or by restoring individual drivers.

How do I restore my Acer computer to factory settings?
In the search box for your laptop, enter the recovery brand, and then click Acer Recovery Management.Click Manage Recovery.In the Acer Care Center, next to Restart your computer, click Start.Click Remove All.Click Delete only my files, orRemove file types and clean up disk if needed.Click Reset.
At the bottom of the desktop, click the Start menu and click Restart. Wait for the Windows operating system to shut down, then start the boot process.
While holding down the right Alt key, press the F10 key when the Acer logo appears on the screen while the machine is running. Press “Enter” to access the data recovery software.
Click Next for eachprompted, and finally select “Done” to wipe existing valuable data and restore the Revo operating system.
Restore Original Driver
Close all programs that are already running and go to the start menu. Go to All Programs and click on the main Acer folder. Click the Acer Management eRecovery icon.
Enter your new eRecovery management password in the text box and click OK. If this is your first time accessing a course, you will be prompted to create a password instead. Enter the username and password you wish to use in each individual text field and click OK.
Click the exact “Restore” tab below that is associated with the window. Click “Reinstall Driver” in addition to going to “Contents”. Click on the name of my particular driver you want to repair and click install.
Repeat this process for almost any driver you need to restore. Return to the menu for yourself, “Start” and click “Restart”.

Access to the operating system recovery program can beIt should be obtained from the eRecovery Management screen. Click “Restore” and select “Restore System” to use the factory default settings instead of the “Reinstall Driver” option. Follow the instructions for the exact operating system recovery.
I have an Acer Revo 70 (with Windows 8) that refuses to “reboot”; concept based on a test after about 3 hours; it ends with the message “There was a serious problem restarting the computer.” I cannot reset or access my lower back in Windows 8. There are no “restore points” or they could be “system image” files on the computer. Where can I recover USB? Paste so I can reinstall Windows on this computer?
