Windows 2003 Server with DHCP, Domain Controller, Wins, Ghost 8.2, RIS, DNS. Everything seems to work fine, with every client running Windows XP, I have one IP from dhcp, I can join the realm, etc.

I am installing Microsoft and Symantec step by step to get Riss and Phantomcast properly installed.

If I boot from the net just before dhcp specifies the IP, the chipset method is recognized as RTL8139 (x) / 8130 / 810X;

I am trying several solutions:
add other drivers during realtek / nec / gigabyte to start the wizard
try other useful drivers in the startup wizard (eg pxe container drivers)

Both client / server are located on the same hub (nothing else bothers them on the local network). I am still in the testing phase, so I am not on our local network.

When I try to create a ghost with graphics on another computer (I tested the Powermat DT with a real 3com network controller) it works fine.

another useful tip:
– the computer is present in Active Directory after going through the menuRis
– a person is present in DHCP (it’s just that almost everything is strange, I have an IP, but no hostname)
